The Government College University (GCU) Lahore Ravians Quiz Society organised 1st Inter Departmental Allama Iqbal Quiz Competition at the University's Bukhari Auditorium, to pay tribute to the Shair-e-Mashriq and Old Ravian Allama Muhammad Iqbal. Former Justice Javed Iqbal, the son of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, graced the occasion as chief guest while Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman was also present.

As many as 25 teams participated in the competition, Statistics Department won this competition where as Persian Department and Intermediate Studies stood 2nd and 3rd respectively.
